This Isn’t Church As Usual—Welcome to Action Church

At Action Church, we don’t just “go” to church—we are the church, living out our faith every day in real relationships and authentic discipleship. Experience a movement that meets you where you are and grows with you.

1. We Focus on the 5Fs Framework for Fulfillment

At Action Church, we believe true discipleship goes beyond Sundays. Our 5Fs Framework (Faith, Fam[ily], Finance, Fitness & Fun) offers a practical roadmap for every area of your life: spiritual growth, real-world relationships, and everyday purpose. We don’t just measure “success” by attendance numbers or what we say—we measure it by how your faith integrates into your family, friendships, fitness, finances, or wherever life takes you.

Why It Matters

  • Holistic Growth: Faith isn’t meant to sit on a shelf; it’s meant to guide you 24/7.
  • Practical Discipleship: Our 5F Framework helps you pinpoint the areas you want to grow in most, then supports you in making it happen.
  • Immediate Impact: You’ll see how faith can transform your daily routines and relationships—beyond Sunday morning.

What the Bible Says

📖 Faith“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.”Matthew 6:33 (NASB 2020)

📖 Fam(ily)“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”Matthew 18:20 (NASB 2020)

📖 Finance“Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”2 Corinthians 9:7 (NASB 2020)

📖 Fitness“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?”1 Corinthians 6:19 (NASB 2020)

📖 Fun“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”Proverbs 17:22 (NASB 2020)

2. We Build Church Through Families, Not Facilities

Church isn’t a place you go—it’s a people you belong to. Instead of gathering in massive buildings where you’re just another face in the crowd, we bring church back to what it was meant to be: a family, not a facility. Our home churches are places where faith is lived out in real life—around dinner tables, in living rooms, and through genuine relationships that go beyond Sunday mornings. This is church the way it was always meant to be: where friendships become fam, where kids grow up together in faith, and where your spiritual journey is shared, not just observed. At Action Church, we believe who you do life with matters just as much as what you believe, and home churches give you a space to truly belong, be known, and grow in faith together.

Why It Matters

  • Real Connections, Not Just Church Friends – No more surface-level handshakes and Sunday small talk. In home churches, you build deep, lifelong friendships with people who truly walk with you through life.
  • Faith That Fits into Your Life, Not Just a Service – Church isn’t meant to be a one-hour event—it’s meant to be your everyday community. In home churches, faith is woven into your real life, not just reserved for Sundays.
  • Stronger Families, Stronger Faith – Your kids, friends, and extended fam grow in faith together, not in separate corners of a megachurch. Home churches help families worship together and friends become family.
  • Empowered to Lead, Not Just Listen – We don’t believe in spectators. We train and equip everyday people to lead and participate in home churches, making faith a shared experience rather than a staged production.

This isn’t church as usual—this is church as family. Welcome to Action Church.

What the Bible Says

📖 “Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart.”Acts 2:46 (NASB 2020)

📖 “Greet the church that is in their house.”Romans 16:5 (NASB 2020)

📖 “Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.”Galatians 6:2 (NASB 2020)

3. We Don’t Tithe—We Give Generously

Most churches teach a mandatory 10% tithe, but we do things differently. The Bible never commands Christians to give a fixed percentage—that was part of the Levitical law, not Jesus’ message of generosity. Instead, we believe in grace-filled giving, where your heart, not a percentage, determines generosity.

Jesus calls us to give out of love, not obligation, and to be cheerful, intentional givers who support others, serve the Kingdom, and meet real needs. Giving isn’t about checking a box—it’s about expressing love for God and others through generosity. And this principle extends beyond money—your time, energy, and talents are just as valuable in God’s Kingdom.

Why It Matters

  • Freedom to Give – Giving should be personal, voluntary, and Spirit-led—not forced or guilt-driven.
  • Kingdom Impact – Instead of focusing on a percentage, we prioritize generosity that makes a real difference—helping those in need and advancing the Kingdom.
  • Clarity & Transparency – We are upfront about finances, ensuring every contribution is used effectively and aligned with biblical generosity.
  • Unlocking God’s Blessings Through Generosity – When you bless others with both your money and your time, you open the door for God’s blessings and provision in your own life. Jesus teaches that the measure you use to give will be the measure God uses to bless you.

What the Bible Says

📖 “The one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously.”2 Corinthians 9:6 (NASB 2020)

📖 “Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”2 Corinthians 9:7 (NASB 2020)

📖 “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”Luke 6:38 (NASB 2020)

4. We Prefer Podcasts Over Pulpits (Conversations Over Lectures)

You won’t find Pastor Josh standing behind a traditional pulpit, delivering a one-way lecture. Instead, we take a conversational approach—through podcast-style messages, discussions, and engaging storytelling—to make biblical truth clear, relatable, and interactive.

Jesus didn’t teach in stiff, complicated sermons. He taught through stories, questions, and real-life conversations that met people where they were. At Action Church, we follow His example—bringing truth in a way that makes sense to real people in real life.

Why It Matters

  • Inclusive Dialogue – Instead of sitting in silence, you’re invited into the conversation—whether in person or online.
  • Relevant Teaching – Casual doesn’t mean shallow. We tackle real-life topics in a way that feels authentic and impactful.
  • Relationship-Driven – Faith is meant to be shared. Our discussions connect you to God and to each other, making your spiritual growth interactive.

What the Bible Says

📖 “And He was teaching them many things in parables, and was saying to them in His teaching, ‘Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow;’”Mark 4:2-3 (NASB 2020)

📖 “So Paul was reasoning in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, and in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be present.”Acts 17:17 (NASB 2020)

📖 “Jesus answered them, ‘I also will ask you one question, and if you tell Me the answer, then I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.’”Matthew 21:24 (NASB 2020)
